The cluster of 600-year-old hanok houses between Gyeongbokgung and Changdeokgung palaces stood in for the upper-class residential quarter of 1900s Hanseong (Seoul). Go Ae-shin's noble household and many street scenes were filmed along these stone-walled lanes.
